Bear Mtn SHRED

Zak and Eli scooped up Mikkel and I with the destination being world-renowned Bear Mountain Resort...we were HYPED! If you've never been to Bear Mtn, the ride lives up the hype, there's no doubt. An endless array of transitions, berms, jibs, boxes, roller sections, hipped quarterpipes, tabletops and odd snow sculptures litter the entire right side of the mountain. You could easily do a few hundred moves in just a few hours.

By the second lap we ran into Bradshaw, Justin and their filmer Mark as they were logging footy for another edition of Parkisodes...and then out of the blue, Parkisodes' editor Beef appeared with his HVX and asked if he could follow Mikkel and Zak for the day. Sure! Check out Parkisodes six or seven to see the footy from today (currently number 5 is playing). By the way, there is a TON of snow in Bear right now...snow conditions are all time...we got side-country pow turns today...odd but true!

After a day's worth of shred, our good friends Brad and Clayton said to stop by the offices for a little meeting. When you roll into any of the Bear facilities the walls are covered with the classic ads, autographed prints and ideas for new features. It's amazing how much Bear Mtn and its crew has done for snowboarding and the progression of lift serviced areas accessible to the public.

After sitting down with the posse for a while, we sorted out a plan to build up a two features for a Tuesday morning shoot. Just like that, completely last minute, Bear pulls through with two custom options! Thanks guys, you rule. Blotto
