One Year Ago Today, Finale

Since we were on the last day of the allotted time to build, session and tear down the feature; per the TWS rules, it was all about getting the timing dialed for the five-rider photo. The ladies had gotten real close the evening before, but they agreed one more night session should do the trick for the ideal photo. There were plenty of double, triple and quad routines in the bag, but the elusive 5er was still out there.
We'd been lucky all week with the weather and that didn't change a bit for our final afternoon and night on-hill. Had the weather decided to change for the worse and we didn't have the shot list complete...oh man, not cool...but hey, when you're in Colorado, your odds are good. Even though it was sunny during the day, the night time temps dropped down and that pond skim was border line freezing...I mention this because the art director said if the ladies pulled off the 5er before deadline, he would jump in the pond skim and swim. Something must have clicked, because shortly thereafter the final image was scored...and Evan was now freezing. Blotto
