Feature Bike - Windsor, Part 4

Yep, another change to the 'ol Windsor...the theme of "Gentleman Bike" is still intact, but some modifications in the wheel set, cranks and handlebar department warranted another Feature Bike plug.
Previously the Windsor had undergone some changes to get this build into the Gentleman Bike category, which included easy going handlebars and a freewheel drivetrain. It was a fantastic ride no doubt, but for some reason I thought this bike would be best served with a fixed gear drivetrain and high rise bars.
After swapping out the mini-albatross bars for the high rise, I threw on some Soyo Long Grips for that Fixed Gear Taiwan look. The San Marco Rolls saddle was part of this 'dumb luck' score that included the 1985 Campagnolo Pista Track Cranks you see installed (thanks LG!). Next was to pull a Deep-V/Phil Wood wheelset out of the basement.
For all the upgrades you see on the Windsor, it was done 'on the cheap' which was always the goal of this bicycle (yea, Campy cranks aren't cheap, but I got these for next to nothing). I've logged a few miles on this bike so far and it's definitely a sweet ride. Will this be the last modification to the Windsor? Most likely, but you never know...Blotto
