Around the way...Skatepark Meeting

Burlington, Vermont has long been in need of a concrete park to replace the dilapidated structures down at the waterfront. After a decade long push to make something happen, the city has released their plans for the transformation of the Moran Plant area, which includes 12,000 square feet of skate park.
City Park Planner Anna Thelemarck called a town meeting for all those interested in the rezoning of this important area of Burlington. Skateboarders and bicycle enthusiasts packed the house to look over the plans and voice their opinions and concerns on these upcoming changes. With the construction of a new skatepark means leveling the existing area, which consequently takes out the bike polo rink.
The meeting was mostly positive with all sides bringing home some valuable information to take the next step forward in keeping everybody happy, 4 wheels and 2. Blotto
