Zurich to Flachauwinkl_

After landing in Zurich I programmed the GPS direction Flachauwinkl, but didn't realize booking my flight to Zurich that I would have a five-hour plus drive to get there! Under ordinary circumstances that involve getting in a car and driving five hours is a no brainer...but flying ten-plus hours then popping off a long drive is a bit of challenge. I'm glad coffee was invented!

Arriving into Flachauwinkl I was greeted by Hasi and Birgit, handed a fresh espresso and welcomed to Austria. They let me know the session was happening up on the mountain and I could catch a good two hours of shredding if I hustled up the hill. I quickly unpacked the travel bags, packed up the camera bag, threw on the boots and met my snowmobile transport within twenty minutes.

It was an absolutely beautiful day in the Austrian Alps, so the sunset hours were the perfect time to be there and end a super long day. A handful of riders, filmers and photographers were already busy sessioning a newly shaped feature, so I slid in and popped off a few rounds.

Once the session ended we made our way back to the cabins and enjoyed a hilarious sketch featuring Sani and Mu entitled "Burton's Wide World of Cooking, how to prepare Schnitzel"

I'll hit y'all back with day two images ASAP...Blotto
