Surf Mission Part Two

After closing out an epic first day on the surf mission, we had plans for a sunrise session, but just before sacking out for the night, we got word the waves were turning flat. With that in mind, zero alarm clocks were set and we ended up sleeping in past 11. We factored in the amount of digging, snowboarding, traveling and surfing over the past ten days that everybody was hurting for some quality rest, and we got it…stoked.
Once the crew was up and running, Corey and Curtes took care of the coffee while Mads organized his prep cook team to get the morning feast going. A big round of veggies, meat and liquids hit the plates followed by a good jam session and talks of what to do next.
Since we made the journey this far west, we figured it best to check another surf spot, so the decision was made to hit up Ervik. As you might have guessed, the traverse from Hodevik to Ervik was nothing short of amazing, so the drive itself was well worth it.
This small settlement of houses in Ervik is home to a good friend of Mads and Mikkel (which was no surprise), so while part of the crew went out to battle the white water, a few of us took cover from the harsh elements and walked over to Jon’s house for a warm cup of joe.
After some great stories and videos of young Mikkel that Jon had edited a few years ago, we said our good byes and hit the road; destination Filefjell. Blotto.
