Shadow Shred

shadow_blotto_2.jpg

I'm always fascinated how well shadows tell the story of good snowboarding style. For some reason the riders look so elegent and smooth (but i guess most of these pro snowboarders are that good anyhow!), and cropping an image down to the shadow translates this well.

These photos are from a variety of locations and riders, ranging from New Zealand to Alasks and everywhere in between. At the Snomad, Portland and San Francisco photo shows, along with the Pirate Jolly Roger Book, I printed these 10 shadows at 5x5 inches (12.7cm X 12.7cm) with 1 inch (2.54cm) black frames, arranged in two rows of five.

Enjoy the flicks and take note of your shadow today...Blotto
