Bisbee Bicycle Brothel

After snapping back into 2010, we found ourselves on the AZ80 East, direction Bisbee. Why visit Bisbee you ask…because we’ve heard it’s a nice little community situated just above the Mexican border with a rich history in mining, arts and of course the Bisbee Bicycle Brothel.
Through word of mouth and a bit of internet research, we located Ken Wallace’s infamous Bicycle Brothel. This is no ordinary run of the mill place to buy a production bike, this fine establishment houses a unique collection of steel lugged bicycles dating all the way from the turn of the century through the 30’s, 40’s and anything built postwar.
After locating the shop, we rolled in and enjoyed Ken’s company and his spot-on accounts of the history of bikes, builders and riders. If you need to know anything pedal related, Mr. Wallace is your man. It was super cool of Ken to take the time for a shop tour and history lesson, much appreciated!
When you visit Bisbee, you know what your first stop will be. Blotto
