Go Skateboarding Day

If you're around Vermont this weekend, Sunday is Burlington's "Go Skateboarding Day" down at the Waterfront Skatepark.

The worldwide Go Skateboarding Day is usually June 21st, but in light of the continued effort to build Burlington's first cement park, the organizers decided Sunday would better suit the VT skateboarding community.

This event is the next step towards raising awareness of the Moran Plant Project, a kick-off fundraiser and to provide Burlington skateboarders with an event of their own (Game of SKATE kicks off at 2PM, registration at 1PM).

No matter where you are, hop on your board for a quick cruise or a long session on Sunday or Monday. We'll do the same...Blotto
