Fenway the People

We dashed outta Burlington at 1PM on Saturday to catch the interleague day game battle between the Sox and Dodgers at Fenway. Getting to Boston from Vermont is super easy and takes about three hours door to door. We didn't have tickets leaving the Green Mountain State, but with a will to find a way, tickets were located about two hours into the mission.

Seeing how the Dodgers were in town, that meant that Manny would be making his return to Fenway...the first since leaving the Red Sox in 2008. And in typical Manny fashion he knocked one outta the park during the 6th inning and I happened to be near a group of LA fans...they were hyped!

The bottom of the ninth rolled around in a 4-4 tie until The Laser Show swatted a single to right field to bring home the winning run. The sold-out crowd erupted and that was the end of game two, much to the Dodger fans chagrin. I'll post a few more Fenway photos tomorrow. Enjoy, Blotto
