The weather on the southern tip of the Sierra Mountain Range never fails to deliver a handful of mixed elements...sun, wind and rain at all hours of the day. Not to be discouraged by the unpredictability of Mother Nature, we've been on the slopes each afternoon through sunset embracing the beautiful scenery that is springtime in the higher elevations.

Our crew has doubled over the last couple of days as more and more of the Burton team riders, filmiers and photographers converge on Mammoth Lakes for our final movie shoot of the 2011 season. It's quite the task for the managers to coordinate these numbers on a day to day basis, but the stoke level of the crew is all time, so it's no problem having everyone contribute and pitch-in to making each shooting day roll by smooth.

A late season snowstorm moved in last night, so we're on hold for the next 24 to 36 hours to let the snow fall and the visibility to improve and then get back to it...thanks for checking in! Blotto
