Season Ending Double Hip, Part 4

The fourth and final installment of our season ending hip in Filefjell, Norway during winter 2010. A few more action shots for y'all in rounding out this flashback to some epic times on the slopes. If you get the feeling the riders have a good time 'doing their job as professionals' you got it right. The trickery happening in snowboarding nowadays requires a whole lot of concentration and focus, but you gotta 'keep it light' cuz that keeps the vibes just right. Youknowhatimsayin. Blotto

If you're curious about the snowmobile and the ropes...the sled shuttles the riders up the hill if the snowcat or chairlift is unavailable (see last photo), but the snowmobile's primary job is looping the riders back up the hill to the top of the drop-in zone. Nobody hit the jump with the snowmobile either. If you're curious why Jack is wearing plastic on the front of his body (image above last photo)...we talked him into wrapping a big piece of plastic on his upper half so he could slide down the steep run-in towards the jump. Of course it was funny watching him get ready for this, knowing it was a bad idea...which it ended up being.
