Jeremy Ad Shoot, TV Land

Burton Team Rider Jeremy Jones popped into town (Burlington) so we could shoot the 2nd of his 2012 advertisements. We'd previously photographed his 'themed action ad' so now we were onto the 'non action' edition. It's always a treat to spend some time with Jeremy, hear about his latest adventures and of course catch up on some motorcycle news.
Evan, Hillary, Kate and TK found a storage warehouse location where we'd be shooting Jeremy, along with 30 some-odd bubble screen televisions...I won't give away the concept of the ad here, but you can gather they were arranged in some sort of formation, AND it's possible a couple of them may have landed on the ground intentionally.
My lighting set-up included three Arri light kits, along with some ProFoto strobes I borrowed from the Burton Headquarters. In the end, I didn't need to use flashes at all, it came down to using all of the stage lights and a 400 ISO setting on the Nikon D3s. Lance, the art director on this shoot, wanted the image to have more of a 'dark feel' to it, so the ProFoto kits weren't needed.
BIG UP to TK, Hillary and Kate for tracking down all of those TV's and setting them up exactly to spec, impressive. Thanks to Jeremy, Evan and Lance for making this ad shoot super fun (per usual). Blotto
