Trophy Case

The second Burton ad shoot in the last few days...this time around I would be photographing Kelly Clark in her hometown of West Dover, Vermont. Kelly is by far the winningest woman snowboarder in history...countless halfpipe victories on every tour in every corner of the world. Kelly's family archives all of her coverage, medals, trophies and memorabilia inside their family run business 'TC Restaurant' on Route 100 in West Dover. Let me say it's one heck of a collection!

The ad concept was to show most of the memorabilia as a photo collage, but throw in a bit of humor to steer clear of the idea of 'I won all this stuff.' Kelly was down with the idea, and with the Evan/Lance combo art directing, it should be a fantastic advertisement.

A huge thanks to The Clark Family for their patience and understanding while we rearranged their entire restaurant for the photo shoot, then put it back together. Big Up to TK, Evan, Lance, Alex, Hillary and Susie for taking care of logistics and set design...and we can't forget to thank Kelly for taking the time out of her busy schedule. Blotto
