Rye Random Round Two

Round Two from Rye...non-stop scenics as I pedal around mingling with the locals and the not so local. Maybe the oddest encounter was moving along the sea side highway on my bike when I see this dude sitting in a 2-dollar lawn chair reading the paper next to his lime green Lamborghini.

I immediately pulled over and said 'I'm gonna shoot a few photos of you and your car, but you gotta keep chilling in that lawn chair'...he was down. Turns out 'Evan' is the friend of Scotty Lago's Uncle...so we got to talking about snowboarding, the Olympics and all that. Mellow. Then we took the car for a spin and rallied some donuts in a nearby parking lot. Epic.

After that it was off to the Odiorne State Park for an off-piste adventure on the numerous trails throughout the refuge. Upon entering, the first thing I see is random sets of concrete bunkers...all over the place...I immediately flashed back to the many episodes of LOST. It was definitely creepy X adventure X weird X perfectly fine.

On my descent back to the hotel I passed by some random grafitti, a bit of wheat paste, a band-member wielding the trombone on the beach to an audience of seagulls and the defunct sea ship called Slayer. When I arrived back to the rental property, I chatted it up with the manager about Odiorne State Park and he asked if I saw "the streaker"...stoked I didn't! Blotto
