Danny Tight Crop

AL brought the 2011 Transworld Buyers Guide to the pool party on Sunday and said "...check it out, it's those 'zoomed in photo' Burton ads..." I said "...right on, the Danny version has dropped..."

So yea, round two of the Tight Crop Ad Series...this one being Danny Davis in the Northstar at Tahoe halfpipe. Capturing this image took a few more tries than the Kazu version, but it was fairly easy to line up trick, facial expression, composition and focus. Once again, the rider had to look directly into the lens of the camera, which is never easy because snowboarding maneuvers require you to look where you going to land, but Danny had no problems on this air to fakie.

After we settled on a few keepers, Danny and I 'high-fived' and went on to enjoy a fine Lake Tahoe spring day. Blotto
