Standing Sideways NYC

The day started off with a quick five-hour drive from Burlington to New York City for the premier of Standing Sideways. Upon arrival into 'the greatest city in the world' I hopped over to Spring and Mercer streets where the Burton Flagship Store is located. The crew had just arrived and prepared for another autograph signing that lasted well over two hours. After the autograph line made it's way into the store, the riders selected a winner for the snowboard raffle, handed out a Red hat for everybody in attendance and countless other items were thrown around.

With the Burton Store a wrap for the evening, it was off to Santos to show the movie to what some would consider an 'over capacity' crowd...aka: the place was jammed packed and going off! The movie, music and people lasted well into the wee hours of the morning...and the riders had to be up early for an in-store appearance in Jersey then catch their flight to Toronto, Canada for the final stop of the tour...me, I slept in and enjoyed NYC for a day!

Big thanks to all the riders, the tour managers and everybody that came down for posters, autographs, and the movie premiers! We'll do it again next year...Blotto
