Onboard Jeremy Jones Cover

Onboard #125 features a cover photo from Bariloche of Jeremy Jones getting inverted on a tree in the Cerro Catedral forest. The trip to Argentina was for the Burton 2012 Dealer Book with Jussi, Mike Rencz and Jeremy, and conditions were a bit of everything.

This particular afternoon was our second day on slope, after a departing storm system deposited some much-needed snow on this region. We knew about this densely wooded area from a previous mission in 2002, so it was definitely on our to-do list...and I guess it was a good call!

We spent the better part of the afternoon messing with this tree ride, and then another right next to it. I've included a variety of shots below...all we needed for prepping the spots were a couple of shovels and a little bit of effort...resulting in maximum fun. To note, Jeremy's gear hadn't shown up from the airline yet, so he borrowed board, boots, bindings, the filmer's pants and gloves, then located the remaining gear in lost and found.
