Wolf Creek Report #2

casey_wolfcreek_blotto_0854.jpg

Day two and three at Wolf Creek were exactly like day one...deep fresh snow, lots of high-fives and plenty of smiles...the only difference was sunny skies all around!

The routes were similar as well...warm up on the high speed quad zone, move over to Treasure Lift, hike along the cornice, drop in, keep right into Waterfall area, slash more pow, then hop on Alberta Lift. Once at the top you make a short hike to the ski patrol shack, then figure out how far up Alberta Peak you'd like to go...five minutes, ten minutes...anywhere you dropped in was all good really. That was the program all day long...

After day three wrapped up, Casey and I said good-bye to our fellow Phoenix posse of Al, Alfie, Jennell and Taylor then we hit the road back to Phoenix. A mellow eight-hour assault in the rental car under a classic Southwest sunset...Until next time...Blotto
