Up There

Our first afternoon of snowmobiling brought us into a zone that Sollors described as 'caked on from every direction'...and it was an accurate description for sure! Every single natural and manmade object was coated with a thick layer of windblown heavy snow, creating this moonscape type scenario that was very pleasing to the eyes...not to mention pointing your camera at.

After taking in a few scenics, we got to the job at hand: doin' some boardin' and a bit of recon. The light was intermittent shades of grey, the snow was surprising decent (for being at very low elevation) and we ended up pulling out the shovels to shape up a backflip jump (I'll post those images tomorrow). All in all, a grand day getting familiar with our five-day home. Blotto
