Flipping Out

On any given day of shooting in the backcountry, you might find yourself flipping out after a day of exploring, building, jumping and documenting. As we made our way out of the zone on day one, our filmer Aaron offered to throw down a backflip for the crew...for our entertainment. The guys and girls behind the lens don't see as much time on the board as the riders, so a backflip is a pretty big deal.

Everyone was so stoked on Aaron starting a session that it sparked backflips attempts from Rusty, Mikey and Mark. So what you have here is four very different renditions of the same trick, each sporting a signature technique and style to inspire. Enjoy, Blotto
