Yankees Win Yankees Win!

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are battling the Bronx Bombers this weekend at new Yankee Stadium, which many think is a preview of October's ALCS match up. With a good series happening near my temporary home base and no prior visits to the new stadium, it was an easy decision to hop the D Train, exiting at 161st.
The game featured no shortage of big hits and lead changes, which ultimately saw the Yanks put the Angels away in the bottom of the 8th. With that said, witnessing the emotion of Yankee fans rooting their home team to a victory was a total treat and the crowd lived up to its legendary status (trash talking the players from both teams included).
I didn't spend a whole lot of time in my ticketed seat because walking every inch of this stadium was in order. The place is impressive and has a great view from just about every location; you really can't go wrong no matter where your section/row/seat is located. I'll post a few more photos from the Friday night game tomorrow...thanks for checking in! Blotto
