Black Lips Live

Last Saturday night at the Southside Seaport, the Black Lips rolled into New York City for a one off show (non tour) in a very intimate setting. The venue held maybe 600 people tops, so the entire crowd was relatively close to the stage, making for good and rowdy vibes. The audience in attendance was big time Black Lips fans...and once they started playing their peoples went off!

Security definitely wasn't prepared for the tempo of the show ... once they figured out the small barricades weren't stopping the audience from pushing up to the front of the stage, they let it be and the show went on. Ninety minutes of great rock and roll, sing alongs, stage diving and quality interaction between the band and audience brought the gig to a close...not before handing out some tasty beverages to their fans.
