High Fives, Day Two

A beautiful afternoon blessed the Wanaka region on Wednesday while welcoming in the first day of official High Fives competition. Up at Snowpark, slopestyle practice was happening alongside the first round of rally car time trials. I was located down in the lower elevations to cover the ATV competition, bow and arrow challenge, sporting clay and Target22.

Some solid scores were recorded in each discipline throughout the teams, along with a few not so good totals. But heh, how many people drive racecars through an open field course or shoot bow and arrow across a river at random targets on a day-to-day basis…not many. So big up goes out to all those kids who specialize in snowboarding who gave it their best in the team challenges!

I'll be up at Snowpark to cover round two of the rally car time trials, then head back to Wanaka to check out the jet boat racing...Blotto
