Induction

On Thursday, September 27th in Stowe (Vermont), Jake Burton and Donna Carpenter were inducted into the Vermont Ski and Snowboarding Hall of Fame. They're the first persons from the snowboarding industry to be inducted into a hall of fame that was one hundred percent skier occupied. It goes without saying Jake and Donna's contributions and dedication to snowboarding, the state of Vermont and the employees of Burton goes unmatched...so this induction was long overdue.

The event was hosted by Lance Violette, who delivered a fact filled overview of the induction, along with the breakdown of taking over the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum...which thanks to Todd Kohlman and a host of others, managed to fill the museum with an amazing collection of vintage Burton hard goods and soft goods...and a first generation Pipe Dragon for display.

If you're interested in visiting the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum, the building is located in the heart of downtown Stowe...click HERE for more information. Thanks for checking in! Blotto
