17: Windsor - Part 3

 

This is the third post on Feature Bike No. 17. Why so many? Well, the ‘grocery getter on the cheap’ went through another change that transformed this ride into the ‘Gentelman’s Bike’ category.

 

With no official rulebook that I know of, we tagged this bicycle as such because of it’s new found laidback nature. Big pedals (without cages), easy-going handlebars, fenders, removed the rear cargo rack (to reduce swing weight) and changed up the gearing.

 

All of these modifications and changes were done with little to no expense…rummaging through the used parts bin at my local shops and digging in the crates in the basement.

 

What we have now is a certified easy rider for those days when it’s just a cruise and not a race.
